Here is an interesting contradiction. I'll not name the teacher from whom

this brilliance " emanates " .

1. Eat fermented foods because they are good for you.

2. Don't eat fruits because they may ferment in your gut.

Go figure.

Fermentation takes TIME!!! Fruit sugars only enter a fermentation process

when the fruits are backed up behind other slower-digesting items.

In other words, this is a food combining issue and nothing more!

I wonder if the teacher in question is making a distinction

between lacto-fermentation and the more yeast-driven sugar

fermentation of fruit that leads to the creation of alcohol?

(Not that one is good and the other bad, but it might help

explain any apparent contradiction.)

This is actually true depending on how you look at it. Most raw

foodists DON'T eat fruit alone.....

It should read, though, to be accurate:

Don't eat fruits unless you eat them alone or they may ferment in your

gut....

One Natural Hygiene tenet that is aboundantly self-evident is that melon shd be

eaten alone.

It definitely slows digestion otherwise...
