Guest guest
Here is an interesting contradiction. I'll not name the teacher from whom this brilliance " emanates " . 1. Eat fermented foods because they are good for you. 2. Don't eat fruits because they may ferment in your gut. Go figure. Fermentation takes TIME!!! Fruit sugars only enter a fermentation process when the fruits are backed up behind other slower-digesting items. In other words, this is a food combining issue and nothing more! Guest guest
I wonder if the teacher in question is making a distinction between lacto-fermentation and the more yeast-driven sugar fermentation of fruit that leads to the creation of alcohol? (Not that one is good and the other bad, but it might help explain any apparent contradiction.) -Erin http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog - Elchanan Path of Health Cc: rawfood Tuesday, October 30, 2007 12:41 PM [Raw Food] On Fermented Foods [Food Combining] Here is an interesting contradiction. It should read, though, to be accurate: Don't eat fruits unless you eat them alone or they may ferment in your gut.... Erica
Guest guest
One Natural Hygiene tenet that is aboundantly self-evident is that melon shd be eaten alone. It definitely slows digestion otherwise... Erica <schoolofrawk wrote: > 1. Eat fermented foods because they are good for you. > > 2.
