Guest guest
I did the Arise & Shine cleanse years ago. My energy level seemed to improve after a while. But I now feel that cleanses such as this are unnatural and unnecessarily brutal on the body. My idea of a cleanse now is to eat a low fat raw vegan diet. My suggestion would be to do that for a few months and then see if you still feel the need for taking herbs, etc. No doubt cleanses can help flush out toxins that are easily gotten at, but they aren't going to get at the toxins on the cellular level in just a few days. I think it's better to think long term and focus more on a healthy diet and lifestyle than to go for quick fixes. Guest guest
the best cleanse I have tryed is is three weeks at OHI. I started the Ejuva cleanse but had to stop as I found my energy insuficient to keep up with two kids and a farm.I in a week or so, but less agressively; I will probably stay on stage one or two. I will not buy the product again and feel quite guilty and self indulgent for doing it at all. 300 dollars will buy the operation to repair one woman's fistula. I highly recommend OHI, however. When you bring your body into balance, it cleanses itself. " brookelindsay " <BrookeLindsay wrote: Has anybody done this cleanse? Guest guest
I'm about to start the master cleanse as a way of easing into the raw food diet, and I'm a little nervous about doing the cleanse. Any feedback or suggestions? Like, it says I can do it for 10-40 days. I'm an extremist, so I want to do 40, however, I'm not sure if that is a good idea for a first timer? Am I wrong?? Anyone who knows about the cleanse, if you can give me some feedback on it I'd greatly appreciate it~ Peace, Love, Harmony Om Shanti
Guest guest
I don't know if that's easier in terms of changing habits, but it's the quickest way to change your chemistry. This group will not be pro-master cleanse, overall, because it is more natural-hygiene based. I have seen it help many and love the MC for it's simplicity and it's benefits. Join the MC for support on that is my tip. http://health.mastercleanse/ Good for you! Guest guest
The Master Cleanse has been around for a long time. While some raw foodists choose to follow the guidelines using maple syrup (not raw), another option would be raw agave nectar to keep it raw. Using a few whole raw dates would be another option, though they, obviously, are adding solid food to the diet. As far as a good way to transition goes, do what your intuition guides you to do. Certain fasts or simple diets (like only watermelon or green smoothies) can be an effective way to overcome cravings or food addictions, at least in my experience, so there is certainly value in them at the beginning. Guest guest
The link you provide blames colds/flus on " cleansing " and body toxicity. They are not aware of this thing the scientists have found called a VIRUS, then? rawfood , Laurie < wrote: > > Wendy wrote: > > > I'm about to start the master cleanse ... > Is this one of the endless New Age Huckster products made of toxic herbs (all herbs are toxic; eat a pound or two raw and see what happens) from the Poison You To Health School? > Don't poison your body, transition to a raw diet at your own pace, and be aware of cleansing reactions and how to manage them: > http://ecologos.org/cleansing.htm > > > I'm an extremist, ... > Well, you have found the right crowd<g>. > > Laurie > > > -- > Scientifically-credible info on human diet: > http://ecologos.org/ttdd.html > news:alt.food.vegan.science >
