Guest guest
Hi all! I'm so excited! Inn our daily newspaper the Chicago Tribune there is an insert called Tribune Magazine that usually has interesting articles about things happening locally, culture, food etc. This week it was completely centered on veganism and vegetarianism. It was fabulous! Had some great article and interesting interviews with local veggies and vegans. Plus an awesome review of all the restaurants in the area. Tho it did also have a spin with some carnivores and even one vegan turned back into a carnivore, I was glued to the magazine and tore through it in about 10 minutes (I tend to read a bit fast at times). Just wanted top share this with you guys cause it definitely made my weekend! nikki

Guest guest
Hi Nikki That sounds good - it makes you feel as though you have been recognised as a group, doesn't it? Guest guest
I agree! That would be wonderful! Or at the very least, work it into one of their existing shows. Like Iron Chef fer instance. Can you imagine them using nothing but veggies? nikki Why stay on earth unless to grow? Guest guest
Hi Jo I think yer exactly right, that is the exact feeling. It feels good not only to know how many others there are locally, but also it is almost as if we are " official " now because of it. It's kinda silly, but still very nice. nikki , " Heartwork " <Heartwork@o...> wrote: > Hi Nikki > > That sounds good - it makes you feel as though you have been recognised as a group, doesn't it? > > Jo > > > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.522 / Virus Database: 320 - Release 29/09/

Guest guest
Hi Nikki As the numbers of veggies/vegans are increasing maybe we will get a few more slots in programmes than we have previously. It would be good - there is no point in looking at any of the cooking programmes here at present. Jo That would be wonderful!
