meatless hotdogs

ya have to look

several local stores here sell hotdog(and hamburger buns) that are vegan...

not easy though....

then again, ya can just get a good artisan craft bread and cut that up fer hotdog buns

Why can't you get buns to eat them in? Have you tried baguetts?

most hot dog buns..over 99%... in this country are not vegan

Jo..dunno wot its llike over thar across the pond...\

but here, most have whey, er eggs, er butter in em...

ya can find a few brands that don't tho..

Its best to assume that bread is not vegan unless shown otherwise. Many

contain eggs and milk products.

I get most of my bread from the Co-op and check the label. Also the animal

free shopper has a list for UK vegans.

It seems that white bread is less often suitable than brown bread.

If you dont get bread in a packet, you can ask the baker. They will tell you

the

ingredients. If this is not possible you can call the company before going to

the

shop.

In fact I have been eating a lot less bread lately, because I am replacing a lot

of my light midday meals with fruit.

The Boulangerie bakers chain says it's white breads are vegan but the others aren't!
