Guest guest
Hi Pat No, you must agree with me! *smile* just kidding I agree and understand with what yer saying. I was only using it as a darmatic point because this is a vegan group. But I too, would not like someone busting through here flying their meat banners. Tho I would listen to what they said. Only because I like to get every bit of info on something I can, pro and con before going on with it. Kinda like when I asked Fraggle fer the first time what a " vegan " was. And upon hearing his answer I asked why. And then took it upon myself to learn everything I could pro and con on the subject and on eating animal products. That's when I made a decision I could not believe I had never made before. And I think what shocks most people who know me is not that I am a Vegan, but that " I " am a Vegan. For I was someone who would eat almost anything and loved it. I was one of the biggest carnivores on the planet and now, it disgusts and hurts me to watch it being done. Especialy with my son. Dinner is the hardest thing fer me to face everyday. But I keep trying. Thx Pat, for I have truly enjoyed our discussions on this and am happy to " talk " with you. nikki , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > Hi again Nikki, > > Okay, I see where you are coming from ;=) No probs! > > Actually, I also agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but > (there's always a 'but' *lol*) I also think that some opinions are best > kept to oneself, especially in situations whereby expressing them runs > counter to the intent of the group one has chosen to be in. Guest guest
I've enjoyed our chat on this - and looking back on my comments I must say I sounded very prissy. Must have been having a bad day, cuz I don't think I'm usually such a pain the the butt. I hope. Thanks for bearing with me. And of course we need to ask questions and seek ideas other than the ones we currently hold! Best, Pat > > Hi Pat > > No, you must agree with me! > *smile* > just kidding > > I agree and understand with what yer saying. Guest guest
Hi Pat Me too and thank you! But no need to thank me for " bearing with you " . I enjoyed our conversation as well and found nothing wrong with you expressing yourself er the way you did so. I enjoy it when someone discusses why they disagree with something. It gives me a broader view on the subject and I usually learn a thing er two in the process. So no worries here! nikki , Sant & Brown <santbrown@l...> wrote: > I've enjoyed our chat on this - and looking back on my comments I must > say I sounded very prissy.
