To whoever answered my question about the duplicate emails, THANK you for taking time to send me an answer, but i'm new to the wonderful world of computers and don't understand about burps & servers. Is there something i can do with my P.C. to cut out the duplicates or is this just something i have to live with?EBbrewpunx wrote:

I get duplicate emails sometimes and it is because my server has detected a

virus. I am on another list that routinely sends out virus-laden

emails that I now recognize and don't open. You might try downloading Norton

Anti-virus software and try testing your hard drive for viruses if the

duplicates get really bad. It's a good practice for anyone, I think.

Unfortunately it is something you have to live with and nothing your

server can do.

The only other option is to change your settings at from

mail to no mail and then read the groups posts on the web by siging

into . Though keep in mind, you will still receive emails

for a bit after this because always has gas.

Hi Sean

Thank you, but I am not new to computers, that was Charlene that

wrote that. But, keep in mind we've all been new before and practice

helps! :)

A " burp " is just a general term we use for and can be used for

most anything. It's just a way of saying screwed up by

duplicating and/or deleteing an email for no apparant reason. They

also " hiccup " quite often as well.

:)

Thx fer the pen pal invite, as much as I would luv to, I have to say

it, but I am horrible at communication. lol Except for me groups and

some private emails, I really am bad. Ask me family and physical

friends. They'd be happy to tell ya!

Take care and if ya ever need help, just holler!

nikki :)
