Guest guest
Although not a particular fan of meat-type meals I have recently tried Redwoods Celebration Roasts and the Beef-type dinner, and they were both delicious, and easy to cook, of course. Also they are good cold in sandwiches. Jo
Guest guest
This past weekend I tried Gardenburger's Meatless Riblets and I must say those were awesome. I had my friend(not vegetarian or vegan) try them too, but I can't remember what or if he said anything. I'll have to ask him, but I'm pretty sure even he was impressed. Guest guest
of course they are delicious!! my bf is trying to be vegetarian to make me happy, and he eats those everynight. we both love those and they are completely vegan. he also got this bbq chicken imitation dish thing from gardenburger, but that was only vegetarian...he liked that too, but he likes the ribless ribs even more...they taste so real, too!! it's really like biting into some beef ribs w/o the bone and w/o biting into a chunk of fat. -sheila >Paul <nospam > > >Re: Redwoods >Thu, 15 Jan 2004 12:34:31 -0600 > >This past weekend I tried Gardenburger's Meatless Riblets and I must say >those were awesome. Guest guest
I`m with you on this one my fury friend fraggle, maybe thats why they make so many facsimiles of dead bits of animals, and so few vegan ( non facsimile ) products. Maybe I`m just paranoid, but it seems that it is getting very hard to for us vegans to find any manufacturer these days with any sort of integrity. Thanks for the info, any more on any other manufacturers who are not what they seem would be very welcome. P.S. Do spiders like chilies? One grabbed a piece of chili that feel on the kitchen floor yesterday before I could pick it up. I`m rambling again, must be nap time......
