Guest guest
I tell ya I'm psychic... Hope no-one minds that I'm copying this from the Vegan_UK list, but it's interesting since I just posted about crisps a couple of days ago. Oh and I don't think the crisp flavours taste like meat... I don't... it's not like I want to eat some crisps that have a 'bacon' flavour, it's just that the flavour is nice... if that makes sense. I eat about 5 packets of crisps a day on average so just eating ready salted every day gets very, very boring. This is why I'd like someone to make different vegan flavours... Anyway, here's the email: mavreela <ndiscNo more BeefJust an FYI, but I noticed today that the Walkers Beef & Onion crisps in the new packaging now contain whey powder so are no longer vegan. On the other hand, according to the most recent AFS update the Roast Chicken flavour Walkers crisps are now vegan (old and new packaging).I hope that's of interest to some.<3 Shari Black Velvet

Guest guest
I bet the bacon ppl eat from the shops wouldn't taste the same as a pig in the wild.I know pork a few years ago was dyed pinky red to hide it's greyish colour..I wonder if anyone knows about flavourings which are ment to be added to the meat? I'm so bored with those two flavours. I just ate some Salt & Vinegar Hula Hoops a couple of days ago but... Walkers used to do really cool Sensations that were Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar but then they stopped them and changed to Salt & Pepper. Dunno about you but I'm not keen on pepper so whereas I used to eat loadsw of the Malt Vinegar ones I now eat none. I wrote to them to ask where the Malt vinegar ones had gone and they said not enough people were buying them (or words to that effect) so they stopped them. :-( I think Wheat Crunchies have whey powder or lactose in them as do a lot of crisps. <3 Shari Black Velvet
