I am a recently turned Vegan and have been a

vegetarian for years...I have recently noticed thast

with my increase in soy consumption that I have an

allergic reaction to it. I also avoid using wheat

meat because the gluten in it affects my joints....so

any advice for alternatives for fake meat would really

be helpful....Thanks :)

how about a nice portobella burger...?

and...there are quazillions of vegetables and fruits to eat...the heck with pre-processed foods anyways....

:)

Hi Susan - I'd agree with Fraggle and forget the meat substitutes. Get your protein from nuts, seeds, lentils, beans etc. and there's a fair amount in rice etc. We have meat substitutes sometimes, but not often.

I would agree too with the previous people who replied.

Tell us what you would normally use soya in and we'll try and give you some

alternatives. Do you have a total soya allergy or can you tolerate soya traces?
