Guest guest
Just got a packet of the chicken crisps. Checked the ingredients, no lactose or whey powder in sight. What exactly is 'chicken flavouring'? Would that have anything animal related in it or is it ok? Says 'suitable for vegetarians' on the packet. I'm gonna write to Walkers (been meaning to for the last few days but haven't got past writing out the envelope) and ask why they changed beef and chicken around and if they can do chicken vegan then can't they do ALL the flavours. I think everyone should write. The more people who do the more they might think about it and do it. <3 Shari Black Velvet
Guest guest
i think it must be artificial chicken flavoring if they claim it's vegetarian, because that stipulates not having animals in the ingredients (while, obviously it still could contain milk, egg, or honey). Many things that say "vegetarian" are vegan--guess the producers just aren't refined enough to title it correctly! >"Shari Black Velvet" > > > Walkter Chicken Crisps >Fri, 23 Jan 2004 14:38:23 -0000 > >Just got a packet of the chicken crisps. I may substitute the water for vodka, puerly for the medicinal properties of course, and the honey is out of the question, but I will be back same time same place next week with a report.
