Hi,

Does anybody know if Neutrogena Corp. tests on animals? I can't find them

on either of PETA's lists. I have a dandruff shampoo by them that I'm

concerned about. I've tried herbal sdandruff hampoos and scalp rubs but

they didn't work.

Thanks!

So is it suitable for vegans? Does it contain no animal ingredients?

And another question, where are these tests done? Isnt animal testing of

cosmetics illegal in some countries?

you'll have to read the ingredient list for that..different products are going to have different ingredients...

as for the last question..you can test to yer hearts content in the US...

The bottle lists only the "active ingredient", which is coal tar. Makes me

wonder about what's in it that they're not telling me about. Can anybody

recommended an effective, vegan friendly dandruff treatment?

Jason makes a vegan dandruff shampoo

try pangea

http://www.pangeaveg.com/

supposedly, if you mix 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup white vinegar, and apply to scalp before shampooin, that is suppose to help..

or.... mix 1 oz rosemary and 1 oz sage in 2 cups of water and steep for 24 hours. use daily as a hair rinse for dandruff.

cheers

neutrogena DOES test on animals if i remember correctly, so does AVEENO or

aveena, whatever it's called....i think i actually did find that at peta

http://www.caringconsumer.com/searchcompany.html

see if that works

yup, it if right there

it is under johnson and johnson if you scroll down to the J's of list that

does test...neutragena and aveeno are in that company, which is why you

didn't see it under N

also, no one ever feed your pets iams or eukanuba cuz they have test animals

that are treated cruelly..i'm sure most of you already know that

i actually have my cats going vegan, they are still in the process tho

hope that helps you!!,

yah, it is good that burger king is offering alternatives, but still, i

would never go there, cuz even tho what i'm eating is vegetarian, how do i

know if it's vegan? they might cook it on the same grill, there could be

meat juice. and even if it was vegan, i'd still be supporting a company that

kills animals and so i just don't want to be involved, but if it a good

thing i guess for people who are just starting out and not as into it as i

am
