step 1. be absolutely poor and destitute

step 2. be joyous that yer SO just got a job in a bakery

fer the last week..my diet has mostly consisted of bread, bread, and then some bread..with some focacia thrown in..had 2 days straight of rasperry vegan cake..but, that sorta overwhelmed me rrrreeeeeeeeeeal fast....

if i eat anymore bread tho, i think i'm gonna turn into a muffin

*holds tummy*

alas, the garden is down to kale and collards..as volunteered to watch my Dad's dog fer a week when they went thru (from montana down to san diego)..and my SO's lil beast conspired with her..

they did unmentionable things to the greens and onions...

*sigh*

so..its been bread..and bread..and of course beer..followed by bread....

i wonder how edible the dog's vegan chow is???

and then there is the mixed grains fer the rats....

hmmmmm.....

well..excuse me...i'm going to go nibble on some..bread....

LOL - Poor Fraggle. When she was in 6th form, my daughter got a part-time job in Sainsbury on the cake section - she got so sick of seeing cakes all the time, it put her off them for ages.

I don't know what 6th Form corresponds to in America - it's the two years after 'normal schooling and before going to university.

ummm

then it doesn't correspond....

here...high skool runs(generally) from 14 to 18...tho fer some its only 16 to 18, more er less...

we have the grade system...kindergarten thru 12th grade...

you go from high skool str8 to college here generally...
