Welcome, you will be lucky if you see anyone from any area is vegan lately

it's very quiet indeed.

Have you met any vegans yet?

Hey everyone, thanks for replying :) It's nice to know that people

in other states understand the " I'm the only one " feeling. And to

Fraggle, we actually have like 650,000 people, but 14 is ever so

close lol.

there are almost 7 million in the Bay Area...

well..all depends..you can move somehwere else a bit more accomidating...heck, i could never move from the SF area i don;t think, unless i went to europe...there is too much here...

but..then again, there is something to be said fer gathering like folks around you! making yer own community..gathering like-minded people, and convincing others...

more of an accomplishment in the dakotas then it is here certainly...

cheers

fraggle

Wow, 650,000 in your city? Sounds nice...I love small-town life but

am starting to seriously wonder if I'm going to have to move

somwhere like that to find a vegan community. Just a conundrum I

guess.

Bay area, eh? I have always wanted to check that out. I agree with

you about gathering like-minded people, ideally, I would LOVE to

start up some kind of vegan group here, enlighten people, that kind

of thing....but my town has a bison " processing " plant(ew ew ew),

and every week there are job listings in the paper for people

willing to de-bone, de-head, etc....sooooo, don't think my opinions

would ever go far here lol. To date though, I have about 12 vegan

Your stickers sound awesome! Where did you get the black and silver

one? I think my favorite one that I have is from Peta, it's lime

green and has a picture of little bunnies and in big black letters

says " Real men are kind to animals " ...it rocks. Man I can't even

begin to describe how nice it feels to finally be able to talk about

stuff like this to people who understand lol...this is gonna be good

for the soul. Rock on everybody!

the vegan bumper sticker

i just went to actionforanimals.com, clicked on AFA online store, and the

the sticker page w the vegan one, the silver vegan one is the 1st sticker

listed

i was pretty sure i got the break for animals one there , too, but i didn't

see it just now

i just searched a few pages and can't seem to remember where i got that one

at...oh well
