Guest guest Posted March 15, 2004 Report Share Posted March 15, 2004 i haven't been in a "normal" supermarket in quite awhile and, i just have to say, my bacchus..they are SCARY i usually shop at "natural" style grocers and places like whole foods, berkeley bowl, that sorta thing... but, friends had a vegan potluck yesterday, and the hostess was late, so we were running it fer her(good thing we have keys to her haus, no?), and needed a few items...as it was a few miles from me haus, went to the nearest place, a lucky's, whoops, i mean albertsons.... anyways....wot a disgustin place!!! no wonder americans are grumpy!!! no one seemed happy in the store.... and the "food" was the most overprocessed trash i've ever seen plus, i knew atkins was all the rage, but had no idea that they had aisles devoted to the crap! wot the heck is atkins approved bread?? wot, is it made out of tripe??? ick anyways..just wanted to babble.... cheers fraggle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Everyone here says the Co-op is good, but our local one is rubbish - not much healthy food in there as far as I could see.
