Pointing the finger at England again?, France is probably the worst for Isinglas and blood filtering of wines......The Valley Vegan....To send an email to - Messenger - Communicate instantly..."Ping" your friends today! Guest guest
off the top of my head Dempsey's Golden Pacific nevada city and pacific hop exchange are all defunct under *US*, almost a quarter of the breweries are British.... the list is horribly out of whack and idiosynchratic....they list breweries, then they have Ranier..????? huh..ranier hasn't been a brewery since the 1970's(and even then it was a subsidiary of Molson from the about 1970 to 77), when it was aquired by Heilmann...Heilmann went under about a decade ago, and i think Ranier(the brand) is made by miller now....which is no longer with Phillip Morris, but is owned by South African Breweries LTD... all rather confusing, no? well, the vegan beer list doesn't try to clear anything up..they sometimes list breweries, and then they'll list a brand of beer right next to it.. sorry..it just seems horribly incomplete and it irks me... Fraggle you old codger, give me some examples so I can let them know what is out of date. Its the only way we can keep it up to date, by all helping them to help ourselves. Guest guest
Think there’s a bit of confusion here – there is an old list on the web somewhere but the Vegan Soc Animal Free Shopper is now online and that’s a lot more up to date. If I had the url I’d include it but if you go to the VS web site you’ll find it... Guest guest
Thanks Fraggle me boy, I have forwarded your comments to the UK Vegan Society, and will let you know the response. They do rely on updates from the likes of you and me as well as the companies that they contact, so every bit of info is helpful.
