Hi All

I usually use powdered lemongrass. The packet I have now is not powdered - like little twigs. How do I use this - do I have to cook it for a certain time.

hiya Jo,

just put the lemon grass in what your cooking

then remove before serving

or serve and just pick it out while you eat

I have this massive lemon grass plant in my back yard

and use it all time the that way

all the best

Hi Craig

Thanks for the advice. I do like lemongrass - just never had it this way before!

Jo,

I do a lot of cooking (had to. to be a Vegan =o]] )

there are a few spices I use in different things

cardamom pods, cloves, lemon grass, lime leaves, whole limes or lemons,

where I just throw it in the mix and scoop it out later

the flavour is worth the hassle

all the best

You can even play a game. The person who ends up with the lime leaf

or whatever in their bowl has to clean up from dinner. Obviously,

this means the cook/server doesn't end up cleaning. Works well if the

others aren't too assute. :)
