Guest guest
Linux is an Operating System for the PC that is free to download/use. Here is a great Linux Distro to use: www.vectorlinux.com There are several Linux distros out there. An individual distro can be developed with the right expertise. Wonder if someone will develop an easy and good Linux Distro for Vegans ? Others can also be encouraged to use this distro. With time this may get the Veggie/Vegan message across. Nor do I see much to differentiate a vegan distro from any other. Include a recipe database and mirror vegansociety.com's information sheets - assuming they give permission, of course? Randomly generate reminders to users to grab a piece of fruit rather than a pizza?

The Vegan Distro could be one such geared to the average user. CDs can be distributed for free. There are a lot of ads for eating veggies locally. They all seem to be working slowly bet steadily. In regards to what Veggie info the distro will ahve ffor promotion, will be left to debate. Any useful info., backgrounds/themes/screensavers anything that will send the message across in a friendly manner. Vijay
