Guest guest
Yeah, I went to one work picnic that's a perfect demonstration of this. They had purchased fake hotdogs for myself and the one other vegetarian at my office. By the time I got there (I was only a bit late), all of the fake hotdogs had been eaten by the non-veggies. , mark martone <ebbrewpunx> wrote: > all ppl be different.... > some folks are just more stuck in a rut then others > others dislike any change wotsoever.... > *shrug* > me..heck..anytime me er someone else brings vegan food to a gathering of any sort, its always the first to go..which is sorta neat, and also sorta sux in that the food I can eat is gone forst, while there is always piles of rotted congealed milk pus product left lying about > ick > cheers > fraggle
Guest guest
I believe he refuses to admit to liking any vegetarian or vegan food item on principle. You know how stubborn many people can be. sara , " Jo " <Heartwork@o...> wrote: > If you tricked him and he liked it what is he complaining about? > > Jo > > > So true. Guest guest
Almonds are also a good source of zinc, try sprinkling some seeds and nuts ( assuming you dont eat muesli like me) on a bowl of cereal every morning. The Valley Vegan......Jo <Heartwork wrote: Hi PJ Vegetarians are welcome here. Nuts - it's best to have a variety of nuts. As far as I know the best ones to eat are Brazils for selenium, walnuts for the fatty acids and almonds for calcium and also to help balance blood sugar. I think the ones with the least nutritive value are peanuts, but they are still fairly good. You can also include seeds - I eat pumpkin and sunflower seeds and pine nuts. Jo - PJ Tuesday, August 03, 2004 8:14 PM NUTS. Hi all,I had a question about nuts, which are the best to eat? I usually have the mixed, they have cashews, almonds, peanuts, walnuts. But I'm finding myself eating a lot more now that I am vegetarian. (in the group discription it said vegetarians are welcome) Anyway, I eat like 5 times a day, and not just to eat, it's because I get really hungry. I'm always craving for something salty too, because I mainly eat fruits, carrots and peppers and they're all sweet. In any event, I go for nuts, but am wondering which ones are lowest calorie, as well as most nutrious. I don't want to gain weight now that I am tring to go vegetarian.
