Guest guest
My concern would be having too much salt in my daily intake of food. I would prefer un-salted for the most part and salted as like well, a treat sort to say. I just haven't been able to find nuts that say "RAW" on it. They just all come canned A terrible thing to do to a nut???!!! NO,NO,NO!!!!! It's the best thing ever to happen to a nut!Gaije"Never frown, someone could be falling in love with your smile." Guest guest
Really, why does everyone here have such a problem with my dearest, darling friend of my youth, SALT? Guest guest
I like the salt, but not too much of it. And being that I have nuts every day, I think I need to start looking for UN SALTED ones, or cut them out of my daily diet..... They generally add vast bucket-fulls of salt to the roasted ones. Not being a big fan of salt, I think it's a terrible thing to do to a nut :-) The "raw" ones don't taste at all salty... as to what they do taste like, it depends entirely on which ones you eat... Brazils are completely different to Pecans and Cashews, etc. etc. BB Peter"Never frown, someone could be falling in love with your smile." Guest guest
To find yourself some nasty raw nuts, you should try a health food store. If it's big enough, they might even have them iin bulk bins, so you can just go all kinds of crazy with the ickiness! And, again I'll say, a nut without salt is like Tom without Jerry, like Laurel without Hardy, like Nancy Drew without her Titian colored hair, Like Kermit without Miss Piggy... It's just NOT RIGHT!!!!! Gaije On Wed, 4 Aug 2004 9:05am, PJ wrote: > My concern would be having too much salt in my daily intake of food.
