Hi all,

I have wonderful news! I tried Soy milk last night and LOVED it! It's better than regular milk! Can you believe that? Someone in one of these groups (sorry forgot who) recomended Sun Soy. And I tried it, and LOVED it. I purchased Rice Milk also, which was also good. They are both better than cow milk! I can't believe I was so scared to try it!

So I am one step closer to becoming Vegan. I am on this natural HIGH right now!! Next step, Tofu! "Never frown, someone could be falling in love with your smile."

With lots of love,

Awesome PJ! I too love soya, and thought I wouldn't because I never liked the

taste of milk

:)

Be sure to make your tofu with lots of flavor and veggies! I prefer firm tofu

:)

I agree. Soy milk is SOOOO!!!!! Much tastier than cow! I've never

found a rice milk I was too crazy for though... Always seems to taste so

rice-y.

Tht's good. We use Provamel Alpro which is good for drinking and putting in tea (although it separates in coffee) and is good for cooking with.

Can anyone give any hints on using a soya milk maker. Our one works well, but the milk seems a little thin, and does not taste like any ready made soy milks from the shops.

I noticed with the rice milk I bought that it had quite a lot of added

salt - too much for what I need - luckily I prefer the soy milk anyway.

Hiya Jo,

the brand of soy milk maker I have recommends you run the process twice

try that

it makes our Soyy good =o]]

and maybe the reason the store bought separates in coffee or tea is because they add other things to the milk

it is usually good things just doesn't hold up

all the best

I've never found Provamel to separate in coffee & have tried it both with instant & strong "real" coffee...

As for the soya milk maker, I have one in my kitchen gathering dust for the reasons you mention :-(
