well, i'm no cook but tonite i made some really yummy asparagus. all

i did was put a generous amount of olive oil in the pan and slightly

browned the (fresh) asparagus on one side and then the other. in the

last few minutes i added a few slices of soy cheese. they were so

yummy! i used to hate asparagus as a kid but i just got over that in

a big way and wanted to share.

It's called " Veggy " they also make a soy cheese parmesan that you can

sprinkle on your pasta. I was missing that so much and I nearly

freaked out when I found it in the store! I'm not sure if it's 100%

vegan though.. I can check the ingredients and let you know if you

are interested.

if its Veggie(as opposed to veggy), there main line isn't vegan, but they have a vegan line as well..its sez Vegan in big ol letters on it

most of their other cheeses contain casein

cheers

in my opinion,,no

but,...a big caveat there...

i don;t like cheese...

so i'm a horrible judge...

but..when someone got me to try them..i thought...

a. the slices tasted like those hideous little petroleum based glue slices of kraft my step mother use to try to force on me as a wee fraggle

b. the parmesan i had tasted like dried yeast mixed stale bread and lizard poo...

but...I don't like cheese!!!

horrible judge!!!

don't listen to me!!!

i no nuthin!!

i didn't do it!!

i wasn't even there!

the check is in the mail!

cheers

I don't know if it's available to everyone, but I live in NYC and I use Fresh direct.

You go onto thier website, and you grocery shop from there, and they deliver it to your home in a time slot that YOU pick!!!! It's great!!!

My point is, that they have "veggy" cheese too.

Along with Boca hamburgers that I really enjoy!

And if they don't have something you could request it...I haven't requested anything yet but I'm going to try to see what happens....

I'll keep you guys updated!!!!
