As most of you know I have my own set of groups for recipes.. But I

need help with a members question.. She was checking out the files

section of my Healthy cooking group and Since I dont have a clue about

some gluten free recipes since the only thing I do is watch what I eat

because I do not have alergies.. She was curious as was I what the

numbers after the ingredient were for?

If you guys and gals could help me with this it will be greatly

appreciated..

ALSO: Have any of you heard about a Type O diet.. this is something

else this member mentioned to me today. I did some research but didnt

find out much.

A partial recipe for you to see what I was talking and asking about.

Red Star's Favorite White Bread

2 cups white rice flour (#213)

1/2 cup potato starch (#216)

1/2 cup tapioca flour (#218)

1/3 cup cornstarch

1 Tbs. xanthan gum (#200)

Thanks Jenn

Jenn,

I am taking a guess on the numbers. Since the products in the

recipe are Red Star. I would presume that they are product numbers

for Red Star. ]

As to the " O Diet " , that refers to a program that advocates using

certain types of foods for each person's blood type (i.e. Type O).

Some people swear by it. I looked up what would be best for my

blood type. It turned out that I should be eating lots of meat.

Needless to say, that was as far as I got since I have been a

vegetarian for over 30 years.

Thanks I will see if red star has a website for this member and send

her the link.

I did think it a little odd for my blood type which is the same as

this person to be on a gluten free diet since I dont have any

allergies..

Thanks again for the info.. You all are always a lot of help
