Guest guest
I can no longer get it in my area, so I bought a case of it on-line. They sent me a free recipe book and a really cool measuring spoon as a free gift. anyway, I use it, the vegetable flavor, and no other flavor ( the mushroom was horrible in my opinion) as a base in almost everything I cook. I used to use my homemade stock, and it was so expensive and troublesome, and then if I could not use the stock in time it would go to waste. Now I use better than Bouillon and everything is better! really, i can't praise it enough. use some in any soup recipe, and add a flavor ranging from delicate to robust. I use it in most all of my green veggies. Simmer any vegggie in a little water with this stuff, and YUM. use it in place of any recipe that would otherwise be vegetarian but calls for some kind of meat stock. Use it in with some cream cheese and make a great dip or spread. Use it in with some veganiase and it is a great veggie or chip dip. you would think I ownded the company wouldn't you? I want to be their spokesperson! LOL and it is pretty good on nutrtion. All concentrated veggies, not like bouillon cubes which are loaded with chemicals. It is a little high on sodium, but not bad. hugs, Chanda

Very reasonably priced and good. Debbie
Guest guest
I'm really amazed I can't find it here in L.A. I only see the chicken flavor. Our Whole Foods is as large as a huge grocery chain market and it doesn't have it. Quite a few other brands that don't taste good so I end up making my own broth. Donna --- " Thia .... Guest guest
Sorry, all competitors of my better than bouillon bite the dust. here are herb ox ingredients, this is for the chicken flavored, I am not sure about the veg flavor, but I doubt the ingredients are much different besides having no meat, and I bet it has an msg variant like the chick en does. Contains: Maltodextrin, Monoammonian glutamate, Gelatin, Citric acid, Natural flavoring, Disodium inosinate, Disodium guanylate <hugs jar of BTB> hugs, Chanda - debjreed Monday, December 11, 2006 7:54 PM Re: better than bouillon vegetable flavor , " PuterWitch " <puterwitch wrote: > > I can no longer get it in my area, so I bought a case of it on-line. Lots of salt (as in most) but soy protein is second ingredient. Looks pretty good to me and very convenient as it is in local store. Guest guest
I found some better than bouillon at a Super Target Store today. Can't wait to try it in something. Thanks for the recommendations. I had been considering buying this before, but never had. I've bought the Swanson Broth and Knorrs Cubes before and they are good too. Ms. Dash also works well, just added to water. Judy .
