Guest guest
I only see the Chicken flavor at Trader Joe's. I have found the Vegetarian flavor one time. No one carries it, I can't understand it. I asked at Whole Foods, they order the veg version and end up with the chicken. Donna ______________________________\ ____ Cheap talk? Guest guest
There is a big difference in the ingredients, better than bouillon has: Ingredients Vegetables and concentrated vegetables (carrot, celery, onion, tomato, dehydrated potato, dehydrated garlic), hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, yeast extract, sugar, maltodextrin (from corn), soybean oil, xanthan gum, spice extractives. and vegetarian bouillon mix has: Ingredients Salt, dehydrated vegetables (carrot, onion, tomato, parsley), maltodextrin, hydrolyzed soy protein, yeast extract, spice, natural flavor, natural color added. Salt is at the top of the list, and BTB has more veggies, but they are both vegetarian so it may be a matter of taste. hugs, Chanda - pen Sunday, December 10, 2006 7:13 PM Re: better than bouillon vegetable flavor Chanda I find mine in the Oriental section it is called Vegetarian bouillon Mix by Harvest Dragon Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > I only see the Chicken flavor at Trader Joe's. Guest guest
yeah I was shocked! I used to get it at the local market, they stopped selling it, then I wen tto whole foods, and NO. There is every other flavor! The website was a good deal. It is a shipping cost, but it is cheaper thant he market, so it defrayed the shipping a bit. hugs, Chanda - Donnalilacflower Sunday, December 10, 2006 6:53 PM Re: better than bouillon vegetable flavor Chanda I only see the Chicken flavor at Trader Joe's. Guest guest
I have been purchasing for years a similar sounding product line from http://www.redibase.com/ . They have reduced and ultra low sodium versions. The quality is good though not homemade. Not sure how the taste or p**** compares to Better Than.
