Guest guest
Hi All, Our Question of the week is,......... what Kitchen gadgets are on your wish list for Christmas or for giving to others this Christmas and what makes you like them? Also are any of you doing cookie exchange Parties, with a group? If so, what recipes are you using and how what your particular group have as guidelines/and how does the party go. I am really looking forward to some great ideas from all of you. I always learn alot form these. Christmas Blessings, Judy

My microwave is on the way out. So, I have a new one on my list. Maybe a combo with a toaster or convection oven. Or even just a toaster oven. I like things crunhyy, so find myself turning on the main oven just to crisp up the smallest of things. A waste of energy to be sure! > Also are any of you doing cookie exchange Parties, with a group? So far this season, I've made gingerbread, chocolate chip, and maple walnut cookies for others, and I have two test batches (peanut and oatmeal) in the fridge right now. I think for Friday's holiday part at work, I'll be making peanut butter chocolate chip. Here are pics of those I've gifted: http://www.zenpawn.com/vegblog/2006/12/09/holiday-gift-baking -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog
Guest guest
The kitchen 'gadget' i suddenly covet more than anything in the world is a 2nd mixing bowl for my Kitchen Aid! My mom is the only other one who cooks & she has everything - I've made darned sure of it since I spend my whole summer w/her! I'm giving her the Pampered Chef microwave 'pots' since she's now cooking for 1, I thought she could use them for nuking some veggies for herself & save bigtime on cleanup, etc. I'm doing a cookie exchange w/some teammates from a game on Recipezaar.com. We went through a lot together & have stayed close friends. I'm sending (in addition to some cookies) some homemade candy, some Maine maple syrup that i brought back last summer & a Nutcracker ornament in honor of my 9yo who is dancing in her 2nd Nutcracker ballet this year. Guest guest
I wish I could participate in cookie swap parties, since I think they are really fun, but I haven't been invited to a vegan friendly one yet. This year I had a " Pupperware Party " though and it was really fun! It was like a tupperware party, but the company sells dog stuff.
