Asked a girl what she wanted to be

She said baby, " Can't you see

I wanna be famous, a star on the screen

But you can do something in between "

Baby you can drive my car

Yes I'm gonna be a star

Baby you can drive my car

And maybe I love you.

On the weekend I make burgers and loaves from the recipe section and

freeze to use during the week.

The wrap & sandwich folder is a favorite of mine. It's very costly to

eat frozen meals daily.

Hi Susan:

You can buy canned vegetarian refried beans and make nacho's, taco's, burrito's,

a taco salad I have even stuffed potato skins with them.

You can also change things up sometimes and use black beans or you can mix black

beans and refried beans together.

You can do black beans, or red beans and rice, using the canned ones takes very

little time.

Also lentils cook very fast so you can cook up some lentils and rice and mix

them together with some onions and you have a meal.

Easy to Fix Meals

Hi, I'm new to this group and wondered if anyone has ideas for easy to

fix meals for someone who is a vegetarian (not vegan) and doesn't like

to cook or shop. Right now I eat mostly pre-made foods from the local

organic vegetarian grocery store that I microwave, but they can get

expensive!

Any ideas welcomed. Thanks!

I forgot about couscous it cooks in about 5 minutes. You can add beans, and

veggies to it or lentils and veggies. It is great.

Thanks Gayle for all the ideas. I like couscous too so it's more

likely I'd fix that. Good idea!

Thanks to everyone who came up with quick-fix meals... I will try

them.

Keep them coming if you have more! I will be very busy starting

January '07 and have little time to fix meals and shop for

ingredients, so all ideas are welcomed.
