Guest guest
I suggested that I use this in my recipes. Someone questioned the ingredients and/or nutritional facts. Here they are. You just have to make sure you get the Vegetable Base and not the meat flavored ones that they also carry. Ingredients: vegetables and concentrated vegetables(carrots, celery, onion, tomato, potato (dehydrated), garlic (dehydrated)hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, yeast extract, sugar, maltodextrin (from corn), partially hydronated soybean oil, xanthan gum, spice extractives. Nutritional Facts:1 tsp (6 grams) calories 10, calories from fat 0, Total fat 0 (0% DV), sodium 710 (30% DV), total carb 1 gram (0% DV), protein 1 gram, no significant source of saturated, trans fats, cholesterol. Dietary fiber, sugar, vitamins K and C, calcium and iton. Percent Daily Values (DV) are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Here is the website if you want to learn more. I really like it and it saves me time on busy days when I don't have any flavorful veggie stock on hand. http://www.SUPERIORTOUCH.com ~Sylvia
Guest guest
Sylvia, Maybe or maybe not you are adverse to using MSG. If you are then most likely the hydrolyzed soy protein and the yeast extract and even possibly the spice extractives contain MSG.
