Guest guest
His teeth are snow white, eyes crystal blue, he's got lots of energy. Lately he claimed a sheet of bubble wrap and he jumps off the bed and goes surfing on it, drags it back and goes on a long ride after ride. He's a character! He loves to drink water, maybe that's the key to his good health. Donna --- Steph <mrswalp29 wrote: > well you must be something right if he is 17 years > old. Guest guest
I almost lost him to feline urinary when he was only 2 yrs old. It had a 20% chance of recovering and he made it. He's been 15 yrs on Hill's prescription dry food (I believe it's the C/D mix). He likes to have a scoop with hot water on it in the morning, the rest of the day he nibbles on dry. I will never change his food at his age and knowing he's doing good. He eats no cat treats or anything else. Guest guest
I have a pdf document that rates all foods. It was written by a vet. I would suggest steering away from foods like Hills, Iams.... Their company ethics are not only questionable but they spend more money on cutesy advertising than the actual quality of their food. I have also started feeding some of my crew a homemade food, their dry food is made up of a supermix of Natural Balance (Dick Van Patten donate some of his proceeds to animal charities), Innova EVO (no grains, mostly protein, only food of it's kind right now.. comes in wet and dry) and Chicken soup for the soul (very well priced food, excellent protein sources) If you want this pdf or more sources for food comparisons, please email me at my.little.feline.zoo or check out my blog http://360./beauty01ca or web page little.feline.zoo.googlepages.com/home I update them both regularly Good luck. purrs, Lydia and her little feline zoo from Southern Ontario, Canada " If a homeless cat could talk, it would probably say, 'Give me shelter, food, companionship and love, and I will be yours for life!
