The other day they were making a fruit salad on tv and the woman said

save your pinapple skins for your fellow vegetarian. Does anyone

understand why she would say that. I just cut up a fresh pinapple and

was looking at the skins with wonder. Thanks a lot

I know that the peel can be used to make Pineapple Peel vinegar. Also, have

used the " top " before to grow a wonderful Pineapple plant.

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go where there is no path .... and

leave a trail.

The only thing I can think of is that it is saying vegetarians will

eat anything including scraps.

In Trinidad some people just boil the skin with a few cloves and a

piece of cinnamon then cool and strain and add sugar for a wonderful

light pineapple drink. Also you can add orange juice and make it a

pinaple orange drink.
