Notes: As I was rolling these out I remembered it's much easier to form them into a circle if you put the rolled pastry on parchment paper BEFORE you make the side cuts and add the filling. BEFORE, lol. The circle part is optional but it makes them much easier to fit on a cookie sheet and then to ship if you're planning that. Also, my filling wasn't quite enough for 3 kringles so I added 1 large Roma apple. I like to really fill my kringles . If you make the traditional filling with walnuts, sugar & butter, choose a baking sheet with sides and maybe put something underneath one rack down because as soon as that sugar & butter start to melt it is messy!!
