Guest guest
Sya is plain soy milk, the caster sugar is white sugar but it's ground finer so you might want to run your granulated sugar through the coffee grinder or blender first before using. I use almond essence oil or almond extract, it's in the spice and baking isle of the grocery store. Hope youe njoy a luscious cake. I was thinking that essence was probably the same thing as extract but wanted to be sure. Is soya milk just regular soy milk or is it something different? And caster sugar? > Hope this doesn't sound silly but I am a lil confused. Guest guest
I was going to type up the same info. I do use unsweetened soy milk when I bake or I cut down on the sugar if it's sweetened. Guest guest
Thank you. I forgot to get the almond extract at the grocery store so this cake is going to wait until aftert the holidays now. I did send the recipes to the list in case anyone else would like to bake it.
