Guest guest Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 @@@@@ IRISH PARSNIP SAUCE 2 parsnips 1 oz butter 1 oz of flour 1/2 pint of milk salt and pepper 1 tablespoonful cream chopped parsley Boil parsnips well, when quite tender rub through a sieve. Melt butter, stir in flour and milk, stir until it boils. Add the parsnip pulp, a little salt and pepper and a tablespoonful of cream. Heat through. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve.
