Guest guest
Hello everyone, I'm not only a new wannabe vegetarian, but I'm also new to this cooking (or)deal. I recently bought spiced soy meat which was thawed. I realize now that I won't be able to finish it all by its printed expiry date. Would anyone know if I can freeze some of it? Is it alright to freeze thawed soy meat? (or any other product ehehe)? Thanks and all the best to y'all from Mexico, Luis

Guest guest
Hello Judy, Thanks for the quick reply. This are is the first soy meat I've ever seen in a grocery store in Mexico. It's brand is OvarB and it says " Soy rancher style " . I wonder whether you would know of it, since it's also made in Mexico. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Luis, You're very welcome. Welcome to the group. Is it like a ground " beef " one or the " chicken " ones? I've not hear of that brand before. I use the Worthington/Loma Linda Brands and Morning Star Farms frozen products. I have frozen all of those to the best of my recollection, when we've I had left overs . I bet you could with that brand also. Try putting it into a tupperware or freezer ziplock back and freeze. You've got nothing to loose, because if you can't eat it up in time without freezing it, it would spoil anyways. Judy - Luis Lopez Thursday, January 04, 2007 9:41 PM Re: Freezing soy meat?
