Guest guest
I have been having trouble with memory problems. I go to the hospital for testing on Wednesday. My doctor said that he is thinking of a vitamin malabsorption and is checking out the six test-tubes of blood he took yesterday. I can't answer your problem at the present time, but you are not alone!!! He doesn't think it is my diet, but he is thinking malabsorption at the present time. I have been to nutritionist who say we eat a well balanced diet not to worry but these concerns are not going away. I talked to a naturalist who said to give everyone 1 Tablespoon of yeast a day but I have not seen any results. We all take whole food multivitamins and flaxseed.I know no one can give out medical advice but I was hoping maybe someone had had some of the concerns I have and had something work for them. Thanks a lot
Guest guest
the naturalist said the same thing about malabsorption but my doctor wont test nor will the pediatrician for the boys. I wish you receive the answers and help you need. I don't know about you but I am only 30 way too young to get confused and forgetful. Guest guest
I am 63, but I had a closed head injury in 1999 and it caused short term memory loss. It is really getting bad, so my doctor has ordered brain scans and blood tests for a beginning. I hope things get answered for you. I also had many internal injuries which do not allow me to absorb foods as well as I used to, so he is checking that out through the blood samples. I am sorry your doctors won't do the same for you. Guest guest
Could be hypothyroidism, something with which I am, unfortunately, familiar. The blood test involves checking the TSH and Free T3/T4 values. Keep us informed as to your findings. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " mrswalp29 " <mrswalp29 wrote: > > I have been having a lot of problems with memory and energy lately and > my kids have horrible red circles under their eyes. Guest guest
TThe first thing I would do is find out how much sugar in any form you are all eating. Count out the number of calories from sugar and let us know.
