Guest guest
Soes anyone have the Cuisinart ice cream and sorbet maker? It has good reviews. I'd like one to make fruit sorbet in if the group thinks it's worth the $48 Amazon wants for it. Thank you kindly, Hip
Guest guest
I think it is worth it! I can turn peaches canned in their juice and non sugar sweetener and make peach sorbet whenever I want. Since it doesn't make a gallon of ice cream, we usually finish off what I make in a day or so. Jeanne in GA PS: some stand mixers have an ice cream maker attachment for sale as well. Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Answers. Guest guest
Yes it works well. the only drawback is that you need to freeze the bowl & it can take up valuable freezer space. Guest guest
For sorbet I freeze the fruit (or buy frozen fruit) then blend a cupful or so in a blender with a small amount of liquid until it is the consistency of sorbet. Store any leftovers in individual containers and let them thaw slightly before eating.
