Guest guest
LOL I use it about 5 times a week. The woman from freecyccle.org posted it to give away, I responded saying I was interested in it and she replied how quick could I come and pick it up. She doesn't eat rice often and never steams veggies so she used it twice and didn't want it sitting around. This type is so easy to clean, rice doesn't get stuck. I have to soak my other one for a few hours before washing. Guest guest
Donna, That is a nice story about how you got your steamer. Funny how one person's clutter(not being used) is another person's treasure. I need to look into the freecycle in my area. Maybe I could bless others with some of my things and be blessed by some of another's things. Your review makes this steamer even more appealing. Thanks. Guest guest
You go for it Erin. What a great price too. You will love it. When I need another I will get the same one you selected. I like the idea of making 2 things at one time. Guest guest
I got a large electric steamer through freecycle and it is perfect, easy to clean, and it gets a lot of use here. Guest guest
I got mine at a yard sale for $2 about 5+ years ago. It looked to have been used maybe once. I use it several times a week, and it has held up well. I have used mine and my roomie's simultaneously a few times when we wanted both rice and veggies-- seeing the double decker one gives me the thought to try stacking the two we have, vs running both--- hmmmmm....
