Have you ever wondered why some eggplants are full of seeds and others aren't? Do you have a preference and want to know before buying them and cutting them open, which ones have more seed and which ones don't? Well it is very easy. Male Egg plants will have a straight line tan mark on the bottom of the eggplant and will have lots of seeds. I prefer these Female Eggplants will have more of a circle tan mark on the bottom of the eggplant and will have fewer seeds. These seem more bitter to me, but I know some of you much prefer these. To remember this easier next time you go shopping, just think of a person's male and female anatomy and you'll NEVER FORGET. LOL for all those inquiring minds that were dying to know. Share a laugh and enjoy this new tidbit of knowledge. I bet your produce man will be stumped if you ask him this. Or better yet, they might even think you are flirty with them.
