I bought a jar of Mole (mexican condoment)

Has anyone used this?

I looked through the files but all the " mole " recipes

list the spices individualy, not the jared stuff. I'm

going to try some on rice tomorrow but wondered if

anyone had any recipes using the premade condoment?

Also, Does anyone know the nutritional facts of

Nutritional Yeast Flakes? I bought some in the bulk

section of a local natural food store but there wasn't

any info with it. Also is $6 a pound about average?

Any help is appreciated :)

Thanks,

April

Mole in Mexico is used as a sauce like we use a gravy

or sauce. I usually simmer TVP chucks in it and serve

over steamed rice, you can also serve it spooned over

vegetables. I'm not crazy about mole but I do cook

with it since my family enjoys it and 1/2 of them are

from Yucatan, Mexico.

The nutritional yeast is high in vitamin B and I

usually pay $6 - $7 for a canister size container.

Rainy day mushroom pillow,

colors green, brown and yellow.

Wonder if they'll turn back ever,

contemplating what together,

poison dreams, assorted dreams, mushroom dreams.

Thanks Donna :)

I needed more ideas. I didn't know there was a Mole

group! I'll join if I like how it tastes. :)

How large is a canister sized container? I can't

picture it. LOL I bought my nutritional yeast in

a bag about 4x3x3 " (.33lb) for $2 I hope it tastes

better than it looks. It looks like fish food to me!

Thanks,

April
