Guest guest
April this is a wonderful sauce. Use cold as a salad dressing, pour over veggies, on a baker potato, toss with pasta, the ideas are endless. The nut. yeast gives it a slight cheese flavor. Enjoy! Savory Sauce 1/2 lb. firm or extra firm tofu (not silken) 3/4 cup vegetable broth or water 1/4 cup canola oil 2 Tablspoons soy sauce 2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil or 1 tsp. dried basil 2 Tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 clove garlic minced (more if you like) Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend. That's it!!! Let me sleep all night in your soul kitchen Warm my mind near your gentle stove Turn me out and I'll wander baby Stumblin' in the neon groves Source: The Doors - Soul Kitchen ______________________________\ ____ The fish are biting. Guest guest
Can you heat this and serve over biscuits for breakfast or mashed potatoes? Just wondering if it changes the taste or is this supposed to be like a spread for sandwiches, a salad dressing and such?
