Guest guest
It should be noted that many of the nutritents listed on the site previously posted: http://vitanetonline.com/description/38010/vitamins/Nutritional-Yeast- Flakes/ are actually amino acids and are, therefore, a subset of the listing for protein. These would be: Methionine, Glutamic Acid, Histidine, Tyrosine, Proline, Phenylalanine, Isoleucine, Glycine, Arginine, Threonine, Serine, Valine, Alanine, Leucine, Lysine, Tryptophan, Cystine, and Aspartic Acid The Lewis Lab's Brewer's Yeast site depicts an image of the label, where this breakdown is made clearer: http://www.lewis-labs.com/products/facts/BY-supplement-facts.htm This is my favorite brand of brewer's or nutritional yeast. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog

Guest guest
Here is a great recipe for your nutritional yeast flakes. This " Chicken " Seasoning is wonderful in so many things. " Chicken Seasoning " 1 1/3 c. Nutrititional Yeast Flakes 3 T. Onion Powder 2 1/2 t. Garlic Powder 2 1/2 t. Salt 2 T. Parsley 1/2 t. Celery Salt 2 T. Italian Seasoning 1 t. Tumeric Mix together and store in a ziplock bag for use in recipes that call for Chicken Seasoning. It is good in Soups, broths, breading meal and for use in making Scrambled Egg Tofu. To make a " Chicken Broth " use 1 T. to 1 c. of water. - April Sunday, January 21, 2007 8:58 PM Re: Nutri. Yeast Question April Thanks for the info Erin I don't know what brand mine is...
