I'm certain those large tapioca balls are for a Thai

beverage and not pudding, let's ask Chanda.

I remember her posting recipes and info last year

about them.

Well the ones I have an very small, not those large ones for the thai tea.

Here is a recipe Thai Bubble Tea from the site that WEE sent for the Panodan

seasoning. It has a ton of recipes on it as well as Thai food items to buy.

http://importfood.com/bubbletea.html I ordered Bubble Tea at an Asian Mall

Restaurant in Toronto once. It is not something I enjoyed. I was really

wondering what those balls acturally were, because it didn't remind me of

tapioca at all. Their balls were black.............. It is a very strange

drink to me. LOL

Marilyn,

We also called the pearl tapioca pudding by that name..I can't bring

myself to call it that now after years of being a Vegetarian. Kids

sure loved the name . Another favorite of mine is 'Frog Eye

Salad'.Oh my gosh I actually said it . Donna is a frog lover like me.

She will take notice of that one. LOL

I also have a recipe for that 'hopper eye salad' somewhere using

Acini Di Pepe pasta. It is really a great salad/pudding desert.
