I Don't know what we are having yet tonight, however my daughter and I are

getting ready to bake some bread, we are going to roll it out and spread some

garlic and fresh parsley then roll it up and bake.

Go Bears.

My Packers being long out of it this year, I'm just here for the

munchies today lol. What's everyone cooking for the big game? We are

having pizza & big greek salads with lots of different olives and

pepperoncinis yum.

Hope it's a good game with no gross injuries.

Peace,

Diane

I hope I win the $2,000 pool (:-) I'm made roasted

butternut squash with the maple spice pepitas on top.

I plan on guacamole and bean burgers too.

The seed is in bloom, will it meet an early doom

or survive in a tranquil sea?

Does it face an early end, will it find a real friend,

should it be called humanity?

Will creation of man bring death by his hand

or will life be his destiny?

The Seed - Rare earth

Mom's pretty mad about the teams playing this year and we're all sick right

now (DD got croup last weekend and now we're all coughing and congested and

it's really gross). So it's not going to be the usual revelry (you should

have seen us last year with Pittsburgh playing... that was an awesome

party). We've also been invited over to my in-laws for a party but I don't

think we'll go simply because we're sick and it's not the same when you have

to explain very play to the whole group! My in-laws watch exactly one

football game every year, so it's more like a Super Bowl commercial party

over there! I digress.... we might go pick up some chips and dip or veggie

and fruit trays with our sandwhiches (usually Subway, but I think we'll do

Quizno's now). Usually we do a full spread and pig out greatly. Today's just

a memorial service for the end of what could have been a great season.

Liz,

Oh no ! I should join your 'in-laws' today for the get together. I

didn't watch a single foot ball game last year.(Not even a Bronco's)

What can I say ? I think I was on the ranch most of the time chasing

cattle and helping to build fences that the Elk knocked down. LOL I

do understand football and would love eating all the goodies..

Have fun all of you.

Sending smiles and hugs your way

Deanna in Colorado-

PS does anyone ever call you 'Lizzybet'? I have a favorite auntie and

we all call her that..

I'm making chili in my crock pot and I add crucnhed up vegie burgers at

the end, all my homies think it's real meat. Maybe because they start

drinking the beer before they eat the chili but it tastes good so I

don't think they really know the difference.

of course nachos w cheese and other munchies, veggie trays, a big salad and

almond joy cake and macademia nut cookies for snacking. Everything is

ready to go, chili is in the crockpot and all I have to do is email and

Come on down :) There's plenty !!! Actually, I'm a Dolphin fan first,

then Colts. But my Dolphins flubbed out already . Hubby put an 18 pack

of Coors outside. I told him it would get cold faster outside than in the

fridge, he didn't believe me but he did it anyway. It was ice cold in 15

minutes. It's like 11 degrees here right now. How is it in CO? I've

not been out that way for about 8 years now. I love the mountains !!!

I'll save you some chili and nachos.. Get here safe ok? ( grin )

We've decided to forego to in-laws today, the kids are still a bit sick. (DD

had the croup early this week, and now DS is getting a bad cough.) My mom

grew up watching football with her dad so it's become a family event, every

Sunday and Monday (some Saturdays and Thursdays) to gather around and watch

the games. This year it's a bit more special, since it's Mom's first season

without her dad. To each their own, and may the BEARS win!

Liz

(My mom has all sorts of nicknames for me, but I don't think any of them are

Lizzybet. Actually, I go by Elizabeth more now, but I'm a lazy typer.)
