Celery Seed Honey Dressing (for fruit salads)

Celery Seed Honey Dressing (for fruit salads)

 

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. paprika

4 tbsps. vinegar

1 tsp. celery seed

1 tsp. dry mustard

1/3 cup honey

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. grated onion

1 cup salad oil

 

Mix dry ingredients. Add honey, lemon juice, vinegar

and onion. Pour oil slowly into mixture, beating

constantly. Serve with fruit salad.

This looks like a great recipe!.. would it be good for a diabetic..

I found one that was diabetic but it doesnt have the honey in it. So

I was curious.. Can you help?

If not I will keep searching..

Hi Jenn,

 

It does look good. I'm diabetic and I'd steer clear because of the

sugar and the honey. I don't do fake sugars either, so I pretty much

eat my fruit salads plain. :-)

Thanks for the info.. I was looking for one for my moms best

friend.. But it seems that I have been finding some decent recipes

for myself.. Trying really hard to change my eating habits while

putting her next years Christmas present together..

Thanks for the info.. I was looking for one for my moms best
