I read about this in a paper/mag and meant to look up the web site but forgot so thanks for this! Bet the book will really take off now, wonder how much of the profit will be donated to charity..?

While these are good ideas I would urge people to be careful when taking the advice to pay more at charity shops. Lots of people forget that most charity shops (British Heart Foundation - Marie Cure etc) fund vivisection, and even Oxfam supply animals for people to grow for food - so I would suggest a little thought before buying at charity shops.

It's not supposed to be a vegan book - but you could always send them a vegan suggestion.
