I just pulled out the cosmetics I used to wear when I was an executive and most of it is by Prescriptives. I'd like to start wearing them again - does anybody know if Prescriptives tests on animals?

Thanks!

They are made by Estee Lauder. I have visited the site. Nowhere does it mention a lack of animal ingredients or testing on animals, so I would assume that they contain animal ingredients and are tested on animals. Usually if they don't, they are proud to say so

Actuallly, I think PETA has said that Estee Lauder doesn't test on animals. But they probably still use animal ingredients. It's a shame, because I really like their foundaiton. I guess I'll start shopping for cosmetics at Pangea.

Just noticed this email and not sure how relevant it

is or if there has been a difinitive reply

I have read somewhere that Presciptives is not tested

on animals. It is a brand that is sold on QVCUK whose

official position is that they do not endorse

animal testing and the products they sell are

therefore not currently tested on animals. Also,if

Estee LAuder own the company it is unlikely that

animal testing occurs as it is something they are

opposed to and their other companies such as Clarins

and Clinique are also animal friendly in this respect.

Estee Lauder have quite a long fixed cut off date I

believe. However, I am not sure if these products

contain animal products -I believe they are vegetarian

but not vegan

For anyone looking for vegan skincare, makeup,

aromatherapy and dietary supplements there is a

company called Arbonne that makes all of their

products free of animal products and animal

by-products. I am a distributor for these products.

Check out www.Arbonne.com.

Please email me with any questions.
