Sabs are people who do not like to see foxes killed for fun, and do all they can to prevent this - i.e. running ahead of the horses and hounds and spraying citronella to put the hounds off the scent, petting the hounds so they do not give chase, sitting on fox-holes to stop hounds and terriers and hunters getting at the foxes. I think actually this girl was most likely injured by the huntspeople, not the police, but the Essex police area has a high record of injuries to sabs.
