Guest guest
yer all over the map aren't you! *shrug* if you read the so-called translations they seem soooo compelling and then you realize that a. its all so vague b.they take things from all over his quatrains..they aren't in any particular order... c. you can intrepret almost anything anyways you want, especially if its cryptic and written in some sort of obscure french/latin combination rvijay07 Jan 6, 2005 5:19 PM Nostradamus. Guest guest
umm see...i have always gone with "he hid them because of fear of persecution" but have also thought "he hid them because if you make them vague, then, bing!, they all come true!" as fer the rest of the guy's thing... ummm. nostradamus really didn't prophesize anything.... the so called prophesies are cobbled together from all of his centuries, in no order wotso ever... like i said, give me almost anything, and i can read prophesy from it...if you pour over something long enough, you can read something into it that happened in the past... rvijay07 Jan 7, 2005 1:27 AM Re: Nostradamus. , fraggle <EBbrewpunx@e...> wrote:>Why they were hidden:http://web.ncf.ca/cj559/why.htmlHome Page:http://web.ncf.ca/cj559/VijayTo send an email to -
Guest guest
Hi Vijay > What do you think about Nostradamus and his prophecies ? Interesting question... Personally, I work on the basis that if you are involved with the people who run the world, you are fairly likely to know what the long term plan is, and " prediction " is more to do with just saying in vague terms what that plan is. I also think people have a tendency to want to see predictions coming true, so will look for events that fit. BB Peter
