Guest guest
I did this test a while ago and came out a mix between neo-Pagan and New Age. Jo - http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html
Guest guest
Hi Anouk > hi everyone, > http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html I'm not at all convinced by this... I come out at 100% Christian Scientist, followed by 99% Liberal Christian Protestant.... Ummm.... I don't believe in any gods - how could I possibly be in any way Christian???? And the ones I would associate myself with to some extent come out as 83% New Age, 77% Neo Pagan, and 67% Taoism. The real irony is that, according to this I'm more of a Secular Humanist than I am a Neo-Pagan. About the only thing I agree with Humanists on is the no-gods bit! Guest guest
Yeah, I was 100% Unitarian with something like 97% Liberal Christian Moderate. Unitarian I could buy, but I answered " no god " to pretty much everything. How does that work? Guest guest
Hello, I'm new here, so first of all I'd like to say hi to everyone. I'm from the UK and have been vegan for over 20 years and am interested in human and animal rights, and environmentalism and green politics. I did the belief-o-matic quizz and came out as 100% secular humanist. Buddhism, Jainism and neo paganism featured in there too, so as I consider myself to basically be a humanist who's interested in aspects of the mentioned religions (the compassion of Buddhism and Jainism and the environmental concerns of neo paganism), but don't believe in the deity bits, the quizz was spot on. Guest guest
Hi Libby Welcome to the group. I'm in the UK too - a Pagan, and animal activist, although more involved in the letter writing side now. I hope you enjoy it here. Guest guest
I did this again as it is a couple of years since I last did it. I came out 100% New Age, 99% Liberal Christian Protestant (???????????????????????????? I don't believe in Gods either!) and 98% neo-Pagan. As I was going through I noticed that in over half athe questions there was no Pagan answer, and most of the questions had at least two options for Christian belief. I am Pagan, and partially New Age - not sure where the Christian bit managed to force itself into my answers. Guest guest
I'm wondering if it takes any answer that acknowledges the possibility of a life force or whatever you want to call it just automatically marks you down as believing in God? Maybe it was written by someone slanted in that way. Laura On Jan 29, 2005, at 7:41 AM, Jo Cwazy wrote: > I did this again as it is a couple of years since I last did it. Guest guest
I think you may be right. It's a shame it is not more comprehensive.
