True. But at least there driving isn't generally required. Thanks, I

have no plans to go out on the roads. No need to. I just hope the power

ummmmmmmm

while we aren't as bad as LA, it can be a long haul to get where you want to go

yeah, but there's public transportation that's pretty reasonable.

unlike here. heck, even in san jose, when my car broke, i could get to

work. that said, i wouldn't have wanted to be stuck in the east bay

after the loma prieta quake hit.

i will tell you this tho

after loma prieta, the BART ran 24 hrs

i miss that...

i wish i had a company that produced cheap but sturdy bikes, and i could just

dump the suckers in a town square..free public transportation
