Guest guest
Generally, except maybe one, the questions I've asked were her's. She reads this list and then asks that I either clarify what someone is talking about or ask a question she has such as the " simply a style of eating or an ethic. " So, the latest question is what about wool, angora and cashmere, etc. clothing. Oh, and she just added felt. She also said to introduce her. Her name is Krystin, she will be 13 in two weeks, she is a Wiccan and of Celt descent plus Wiyot and she says she is closer to Druid than the conventional definition of Wiccan. She also says she loves Goth and punk rock and cats. She has two indoor pets, Boo (an OLD black cat) and her dog Hurricane Cali (an Amstaf/pitbull cross) and does rescue and writes poetry. Oh, and I just got a nudge since I left out unschooling. Lynda - heartwerk <heartwork Monday, May 02, 2005 11:41 PM Re: Quetion for Lynda > What questions does your daughter have that need answering. Vegans do not use wool, angora, cashmere or felt etc. as they come from animals. These animals are generally kept for human use and vegans would not want to exploit them. Guest guest
Hi Krystin I know quite a few people who are Wiccan and Druid - I think it is quite a good combination. Ask any questions you like on veganism. Jo > She also said to introduce her. Guest guest
Hi Lynda (and Krystin) > So, the latest question is what about wool, angora and cashmere, etc. > clothing. Oh, and she just added felt. I'd recommend looking at the UK Vegan Society website - they have a *lot* on wool production. I'm not sure about all felt - some of it I know is wool based, but I believe there is also synthetic felt available. > She also said to introduce her. There are a number of us on the list who follow similar paths (I'm loosely associated with Reclaiming witchcraft, and we have other esoteric pagans, and I believe even one or two Wiccans of various varieties on list, and maybe the odd Druid or two!)
